September 2004

KENT EMOTIONAL LITERACY SYMPOSIUM

Creative Partnerships Kent warmly invites you to an Emotional Literacy Symposium on Thursday 16th September 2004 to be held at The Gulbenkian Theatre, University of Kent at Canterbury. This symposium will explore Emotional Literacy and its influence on behaviour, positive relationships and importantly its role in facilitating creative learning in schools.

The day will include presentations by the Principal of The School of Emotional Literacy in Bristol, Elizabeth Morris, and Creative Partnerships Kent Director, Anna Cutler, with good practice examples from pupils and teachers plus a choice of breakout sessions. Time will be built in to review the Emotional Literacy resources available to teachers and to network with your colleagues from other Kent schools.

Attendance to this symposium is free and we therefore expect a high level of interest. We encourage you to secure your place(s) early by requesting a place reservation form in an email format from the symposium coordinator at trudi@maxmarcomms.co.uk. The deadline for return of entry forms is July 31st 2004.
